Vintage cameras

Some of my vintage cameras. I still use a few of these, but some are just paperweights due to lack of film availability.

    Nikon Photomic T

Early 60's Nikon Photomic T. A workhorse for my dad and then for me later. The meter is no longer functional as no one makes the correct battery for it anymore, it was Mercury and toxic. The camera still works though

1929 Rolleiflex. This was one of the first production years for Rollei's TLR's.

This was also my dad's. It hasn't been used in many years as it takes now-obsolete 620 roll film.

  • 1950's Leica. This was a IIIc that my father owned.

1950's Leica. This was a IIIc that my father owned.

He sent it to the factory to be upgraded to a IIIf. I still have the receipt from Leica USA. We both used this camera extensively many years ago. It is a 35mm and I have tried to use it again but it is almost impossible to load film into it! Also the viewfinder and rangefinder are difficult to see with my aging eyes.

  • Baby Speed Graphic

    Baby Speed Graphic

Takes 2 1/4 " X 2 3/4" sheet film (try and find some....) and also takes 120 film backs. Lots of fun but time consuming! I prefer using my 6X7 or 6X6.

It is a 35mm camera that folds open and closed. No meter. The other one I have was my dad's and I shot many rolls of film with it

He shot many hundreds of slides and black and white negatives with this camera and I used it extensively also. I had it refurbished a few years ago.

    Mamiya RB67

A great 6X7 film camera. I was using a Bronica for a while but it had persistent electronic problems so I sold it and got this mechanical workhorse.
