Wading birds, shore birds and waterfowl

I photograph a lot of wading and shore birds as well as waterfowl as I live in South Florida and these are the predominate types of birds here. Wading birds are found everywhere though, both near and far from the beach. Most of these are the species found around Florida . I have identified some of the other locations I have found them.

Although we have these wonderful little wading birds in Florida, this one was one of a group of them I spotted on a river in Costa Rica along with the familiar snowy egrets. The lighting and background were wonderful.
